About Alchemy of Nature
My Story
Hello, my name is Ami, founder and owner of Alchemy of Nature.
Alchemy of Nature began as a homeschool honors chemistry project, where I explored the science of saponification—the reaction that transforms oils and lye into soap. As a homeschooled teenager, I had the freedom to dive deep into hands-on learning, and what started as a simple experiment quickly grew into a passion for creating handcrafted products.
I began experimenting with different blends of oils, botanicals, and fragrances, discovering how science and creativity come together to produce something both practical and beautiful. As I shared my soaps with family and friends, their excitement encouraged me to keep refining my craft.
Over time, Alchemy of Nature expanded beyond soap. Inspired by my mom’s love of plants, I began creating plant propagation stations and planters—combining natural elements with simple, functional design to help others grow and enjoy their own greenery.
Each piece I make reflects both curiosity and creativity—from chemistry to craftsmanship. I hope you enjoy my collection.
